Extra is a monocultivar extra virgin olive oil obtained from Cima di Mola olives from centuries-old trees, rich in polyphenols and vitamin E. It contains tyrosol and hydroxytyrosol in amounts exceeding 9 mg per 20 g of oil (recommended daily allowance*), nearly double the minimum required by law to claim health benefits. Vitamin E (total tocopherols) exceeds 400 mg/kg of product, about 4 times the recommended dose needed to achieve a beneficial effect.
